Pol Corona b. 1987, France

Pol Corona is a self-taught French-Argentine painter.

For the first twenty years of his artistic career, he lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he developed his practice through the production of murals, interventions, and other creative projects. Pol quickly found a strong voice and a style that commanded attention and positioned him as a key figure in the landscape of young Argentine contemporary art.

Apart from his role as a prolific muralist and artist, Pol also worked at giving back to the city and it’s communities in the form of cultural management endeavors, and with the curation of collaborative projects. His actions supported local culture by creating opportunities for other artists while encouraging residents and visitors of the city to interact more with contemporary art.

Whether it be a mural or a painting hanging on a gallery wall, Pol’s artwork has the power to connect with viewers on an emotional level. It invites them into a contemplative, peaceful world where the figurative and the abstract poetically merge in a wash of harmonious color. The body of work that Pol has produced both inside of his studio and outside on the street is inspirational, heartfelt and poetic.

Pol Corona currently lives and works in France, where he continues to develop his visual language, experiment and exhibit.
