Lucas Lasnier / PARBO

Lucas Lasnier (PARBO) is an Argentine visual artist and graphic designer, born in Mar del Plata and based in Buenos Aires. For more than two decades, he has developed an artistic practice encompassing mural painting, illustration, and installation, creating an authorial visual language at the intersection of graphic design, geometry, visual culture, and architectural space.

His practice explores the construction of identity through symbolic systems that combine graphic patterns with imagery drawn from popular culture. His work is characterized by translating this distinctive visual language across a range of media and scales, from studio-based works to architectural interventions and collaborations with brands and cultural institutions.

Lasnier began his involvement in public art in the early 2000s, becoming part of the first generation of artists to drive the development of street art in Argentina. In 2002, he founded Kid Gaucho, a multidisciplinary studio focused on developing projects at the intersection of art, branding, design, and visual identity.

Throughout his career, he has created murals, installations, and projects for brands and organizations including Adidas, Netflix, Quilmes, Cerveza Patagonia, Google, BMW, Fundación Santander, DIRECTV, FOX International, and TEDx, among others. These collaborations have allowed him to translate his artistic practice into large-scale projects and environments. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Palais de Glace, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario (MACRO), and Centro Cultural Recoleta, as well as at international art fairs such as Stroke Art Fair Berlin. He has also participated in festivals, exhibitions and public art projects throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States.

Lasnier currently lives and works in Buenos Aires, where he continues to develop his artistic practice and directs La Cima, a space dedicated to artistic production, education, and exchange among artists.
