About Us

CHIPMUNK is an archive, a showroom and a publisher.

In 2020, the co-directors of Honeycomb Arts, a contemporary art gallery and artist collective active from 2007-2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, moved to a small town in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The idea of CHIPMUNK began to slowly emerge in response to this relocation, and grew out of three intentions:

To promote and document the work of artists we believe in.

To present contemporary art in places where it is not often seen.

To create meaningful and accessible cultural opportunities for communities.

Through creative collaboration, CHIPMUNK develops projects that have the potential to educate, inspire, spread joy, and promote diversity. We seek to provide a link to contemporary art within rural environments while also establishing a platform for artists to publish, document and present their work in new ways.
